Östermalms Saluhall

Östermalm Market Hall, a brick-and-iron food hall from 1888 on Östermalmstorg, where seafood, meat, cheese and pastry counters sit under a glass roof.

Walk the aisles to look at the displays of shellfish, game and Swedish cheeses, then stay for a shrimp sandwich or lunch at one of the counters if you like. The hall reopened in 2020 after a full renovation. Nybrogatan and Strandvägen are a few minutes' walk away.
