Sergels torg
Stockholm's modernist central square, with the sunken plaza known as Plattan, its black-and-white triangle paving and the tall glass obelisk above the fountain.
Look down on Plattan from the street level above to see the full triangle pattern, then look up at the obelisk rising from the fountain on the roundabout above. Kulturhuset's glass facade fills the south side, and the pedestrian Drottninggatan and Sergelgatan shopping streets both start here.
