Strandvägen

Östermalm's waterfront boulevard, lined with grand late-1800s apartment palaces on one side and moored boats along the quay on the other.

Walk the tree-lined promenade from Nybroplan toward Djurgårdsbron and look up at the turrets and ornate facades. In summer, archipelago boats leave from the quay, and Djurgården's museums and green paths start just across the bridge at the eastern end.
